Animation Summer School, Langley, B.C.

'Messages' was a digital arts project which celebrated the beginning of the 21st century. The project worked with 83 pupils from 3 Edinburgh primary schools. Children created digital composites through designing images, using traditional and digital photographs, which portrayed how they saw the future through invention, transport, housing etc. The 83 digital images and video works were exhibited at Stills between December 1999 and January 2000. The project won the Arts Council of England Chrissie Bailey award.
